Volunteer With SO: To Speak
SO: To Speak Festival — Southampton's Festival of Words — brought together spoken word, poetry, live literature, heritage, theatre, comedy, and storytelling from 19th to 28th October 2017. Volunteers played a vital role in making the festival a welcoming and smoothly run experience for audiences, performers, and partners alike.
The 2017 festival called on enthusiastic individuals to join the crew and support events across the city. Whether helping with venue setup, welcoming guests, distributing programmes, or assisting at workshops and performances, volunteers were at the heart of the festival's community spirit.
